Building on existing and class leading backup technology PerfectBackup now offer additional Continuous Data Protection and Bare-metal backup

Continuous Data Protection technology backs up every version of file data which has been saved automatically and immediately. Should your server fail completely and if a scheduled or manual backup has not run all saved data will still be available for restore. Continuous Data Protection offers a highly secure and automated method of real-time real time protection.

Bare-metal backup and restore offers total data protection by essentially backing up image of a drive in totality which contains operating system, installed applications and all data. This image can be restored to the same device or completely different hardware without error.

Bare-metal backup functionality is available as standard when backing up a Windows 2008 Server or a Windows Vista Ultimate laptop or computer. For devices running Windows 2003, Windows XP and Vista PerfectBackup seamlessly integrates with ShadowProtect from StorageCraft.

Whilst StorageCraft ShadowProtect and Windows System Backup offer a bare-metal backup, it is not possible to easily transfer this data offsite. By combining either of these services with a PerfectBackup online backup account it is now possible perform a complete bare-metal system backup offsite easily and without human intervention.
